Sony Xperia 1 II Processing Quality

Sony Xperia 1 II Processing Quality – Sony includes three camera apps for the Xperia 1 II. One is a regular camera that is easy to use. Camera Pro for photography enthusiasts with dozens of manual settings. Last but not least is Cinema Pro for videography as well with a variety of manual options.

Regular camera apps target regular users who only want the most basic features. Camera Pro and Cinema Pro are target at real photography enthusiasts, especially those who are already use to using Sony’s digital cameras. The interface of these applications borrows a lot from the Alpha series. The arrangement of settings and iconography are the same to make it easier for Alpha users to use the Xperia 1 II like their much larger digital camera.

In terms of options, there is no other device on the market that allows for very comprehensive manual control with apps that don’t need to be purchase separately. We are not human beings who fall into the category of photography enthusiasts but when the Xperia 1 II was loaned to the Amanz TV crew who did use the Alpha camera, they were quite satisfied with the options given. So let’s just say if you are indeed a Sony Alpha user, the Xperia 1 II camera will not disappoint.

But for people who are blind to photography like us, Camera Pro; and Cinema Pro are applications that are difficult to understand or learn. During the review period we used more regular camera apps only.

Bench mark

The Snapdragon 865 is a powerful processor for the first half of 2020; but has already overtaken by the Snapdragon 865+ and the Apple A14 Bionic. In terms of performance the Xperia 1 II recorded 536,9610 marks in the Antutu 3D test; and 718/1889 marks in the Geekbench 5 test.

The scores recorded in the Geekbench 5 test are lower; than other devices with the same processor (Galaxy S20 FE for example). The Xperia 1 II isn’t the most powerful android this year but still ranks in the top 10% of the fastest devices ever produced. No issues were encounter during the review period and various primers can be run at high settings.
