Samsung’s flagship android is noticeably brighter but at the same time it should be noted this is not a fair comparison as the selling price of the S20 Ultra is almost twice as high. The screen usage experience is satisfactory as long as you don’t switch from a 90Hz screen device or support higher resolutions.

The only processor used was an Exynos 990 recycled from the S20 Ultra 5G. You get 5G network support but no improvement on processing power. In this case the Note20 Ultra is disappointing as it does not use the best chips. At least last year the Note10+ was equipped with the Exynos 9825 which was better than the Exynos 9820 on the S10+. Add heartache when thinking users in China can enjoy the Note20 Ultra with the most powerful Snapdragon 865+ for Android devices to date.

One thing that doesn’t disappoint is the offering of 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM memory; 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage and microSD card support up to 1TB. The storage size of the Note20 Ultra is twice as large as that of the S20 Ultra. However, we still feel that Samsung should offer more storage because in our opinion 256GB is now a relatively small size for a device aimed at professionals.

If the storage of the Note20 Ultra is better than the S20 Ultra. The opposite is true of camera specifications. With a 108+12+12 megapixel tri camera, it is lower than the 108+48+12+3D TOF. The optical zoom capability is up to 5X (compared to 4X on the S20 Ultra); and digital zoom is up to 50X (compared to 100X on the S20 Ultra). The 3D TOF lens is replaced with a laser zoom system that is supposed to provide better zoom capabilities.

Although the camera specs are “lower”, the Note20 Ultra’s camera hump is higher than the S20 Ultra. It’s the camera hump we’ve hated the most so far. Why is this design still maintained when none of the homosapiens we know feel it is a desired design.
