Vivo Y20s Review Conclusion

Vivo Y20s Review Conclusion

Vivo Y20s Review Conclusion – What we can conclude here, the Vivo Y20s does indeed have a good look. It looks beautiful and elegant in a class of its own. But, you have to compromise on its performance. Reason, it is only suitable for normal use. Suppose, you who do not use a smartphone often.

However, we actually still have a number of other model options that are more worthwhile. For example like Xiaomi and Realme. But, we also already know which Vivo android really has its own target and fan group. So, the choice is in your own hands. Be a wise consumer and determine the needs first before buying.

For those interested in getting the Vivo Y20s, it is sold at RM899 per unit. Available in two color options namely Obsidian Black and Purist Blue, it can be purchased through a number of different platforms including Vivo, Shopee, Lazada online stores as well as a number of their authorized distributors.

However, the story is different with the results of pictures in low light. The result of the picture looks dark and the color also looks less bright. In addition, the details on the images are also seen as unsatisfactory. Add even more frustration when the light source in some cases is seen to be too bright.

In terms of video functionality, the Vivo Y20s only presents footage with the highest resolution of 1080p at 30fps. Besides, it also doesn’t have any support for stabilization.

Vivo Y20s is supplied with the same battery capacity as Vivo Y20 which is 5,000mAh. Through it, it managed to record a good Screen-On-Time reading of around 8 hours for all-day use.

But, what is being debated by many is its connection port. Where, it is a kind of microUSB that is arguably a bit outdated for the time being. Meanwhile, a number of other competitors in the same class have already started racing to use the USB-C connection.

For recharging, the Vivo Y20s relies on an 18W charging which is better than the Vivo Y20. Through it, it can fully charge the battery of this smartphone in about 2 hours more.

Vivo Y20s Design Quality

Vivo Y20s Design Quality

Vivo Y20s Design Quality – Touching on the question of construction, the Vivo Y20s is no different from the Vivo Y20. It is, however, arguably a well -designed smartphone. In our opinion, the construction here is quite balanced – which, it is neither too heavy nor light. This also makes this smartphone easy to carry anywhere without any problems. In addition, the ergonomic and sturdy body design of the Vivo Y20s also makes it comfortable to hold even for long periods of time.

When talking about devices with attractive exterior designs. Vivo is also among the brands that are synonymous with this offering. The latest example that can be seen is the Vivo Y20s itself. The minimalist concept used is not just simple. But, at the same time Vivo is seen to be wise in choosing the decoration so that this smartphone is in a class of its own. Just look at the back panel on this Vivo Y20s.

Although, it comes with a poly-carbonate-based construction. However, it did not feel cheap at all. We also applaud the way Vivo streamlines this build that seems to come with a glass-based build. Next when examined, this back panel also provides a bit of interesting light reflection to look at. It’s just that there isn’t any color change that can be seen through it.

Moving on to standard buttons and extensions, they are all well -designed in an ergonomic and easily accessible position. On the right side there is a voice -adjustable button and a power button – which can also be used as a fingerprint scanner. Then, the SIM tray can be found on the opposite side.

This space offers up to 3 separate slots that allow you to use microSD and dual-SIM cards simultaneously. Next, a 3.5mm audio jack, a small hole for a microphone, a microUSB charging port and mono speakers are inserted on the bottom of the Vivo android.

Vivo Y20s Brief Review

Vivo Y20s Brief Review

Vivo Y20s Brief Review – Another smartphone with Snapdragon 460 processor for the Malaysian market. Just mention about Vivo, most of their devices are often associated with beautiful and sleek looks. However, there are a handful of consumers who express dissatisfaction with the price offer placed by them for a number of products. Some argue, sometimes the price offer is not comparable to the specifications.

This is what happened, during the early days of the introduction of the Vivo Y20s. The price is the subject of much debate. Because, the average thinks there are still many other options that are more worthwhile. In fact, overall the specifications on the Vivo Y20s are similar to the Vivo Y20. The only difference is, on faster charging support and larger memory. Do you keep the desire to have one? Keep reading this android review article to know more about our opinions for this smartphone.

We start the review with a display. A 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600) is used here. Well, this is one of the topics that was debated by many during the early introduction of this device. It was heavily criticized and the average user was seen to be less satisfied with this offer. Many think that it is not worth the price offered of RM899. Meanwhile, there are still other options that are sold under RM600 but equipped with FHD+resolution.

Furthermore, it also still retains the design like the previous Vivo Y20 with a small notched front display like water droplets. Through it, it places a front camera with an 8-Megapixel sensor. The bezel also looks quite thin on the sides and top of the device. But, another story at the bottom is why the Vivo Y20s has a very thick chin build. It is, however, still acceptable and feels arguably a normal thing for a device in such a class.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Usage And Software

Poco M3 Pro 5G Usage And Software

Poco M3 Pro 5G Usage And Software – Unlike the OnePlus Nord N10 which is priced at RM1000, the Poco M3 Pro with a retail price of less than RM800 runs an operating system based on Android 11 instead of Android 10. Not only that, Poco also promises consistent software updates for three years instead of just one year. .Yes, MIUI for Poco software based on MIUI 12 is not the best. But the MIUI 12.5 that I personally tested is among the best versions coming soon.

As mentioned in the previous paragraph, I don’t know what Poco did on the MIUI for Poco for the Poco M3 Pro; it’s not as annoying a problem as we’ve experienced on other Poco devices. Throughout the use of this device for a few weeks; it can be said that almost every time it gives a pretty good experience. Arguably like the Realme 8 5G with their ColorOS 11 -based Realme UI 2.0. It also proves our theory, that 4GB of RAM is not suitable for MIUI; and 6GB of RAM as we use this is the minimum amount of RAM for good performance.

The MIUI for Poco interface is more or less the same as any MIUI device. Interesting features and functions are also equally offered on this device. While not providing the native Android -like user experience first offered by Oppo, Realme or Vivo, many Google apps are already built -in and Google services are built in by default. Examples are phone calling applications and messaging applications. With slogans made of mad or mad (Made of Mad), Poco is really doing a crazy job on this affordable device of theirs.

Regardless of the specifications of the flagship device or not, more or less the same features; and functions will try to be provided to the users. With their crazy work, every different Poco user will not feel foreign; and can further strengthen the friendship in their community which is quite active.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Official Release

Poco M3 Pro 5G Official Release

Poco M3 Pro 5G Official Release – In the Malaysian market now there are many affordable smartphones that can be bought by all for different purposes. Some are specific to photography, some focus first and some focus on lifestyle or productivity. But lately, many are looking to find affordable smartphones that are suitable for use during home study sessions or PdPR. The Poco M3 Pro is among those devices. After testing this device, we found this device is quite suitable for for those on a tight budget.

Since the introduction of the Mi 10T, devices under the Xiaomi brand with LCD panels are seen to be getting better. If in the past the refresh rate was limited to flagship devices, now even basic middle class devices already support it. With a 6.5-inch screen, FHD+ resolution as well as a 90Hz refresh rate is a pretty good offer for a device that sells for less than RM700.

The Improvement

After constantly complaining to Xiaomi that their MIUI is not very good, moreover the device running MIUI for Poco-Poco M3 Pro 5G is seen to have a few improvements. 90Hz support is not as bad as before. It is still not adaptive and inconsistent, but is able to provide a better touch and scroll experience than MIUI for Poco before.

True, there will be more problems getting stuck a bit when opening a lot of apps; or if you want to open a list of apps that are already open and switch between each other. But, it is not so annoying that it makes us feel angry and dissatisfied with the screen of this device. The screen bezel is thin; but on the chin it is a bit thick so it makes the device look less even. But what can be done? This is a standard for a device in this class.

The Dimensity 700 5G chip has roughly the same capabilities as the Snapdragon 720G chip. It has two 2.2 GHz Cortex-A766 cores and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores matched to the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU chip. This chip is a fairly capable chip for a basic middle class android. Especially if the device manufacturer is smart in software optimization. On the Realme 8 5G which uses the same chip, it has virtual memory support of up to 5GB. MIUI still doesn’t have this feature yet, but it is being tested by Xiaomi and will probably be offered soon. With this feature, performance can be a little faster.

Sony Xperia 1 II Processing Quality

Sony Xperia 1 II Processing Quality

Sony Xperia 1 II Processing Quality – Sony includes three camera apps for the Xperia 1 II. One is a regular camera that is easy to use. Camera Pro for photography enthusiasts with dozens of manual settings. Last but not least is Cinema Pro for videography as well with a variety of manual options.

Regular camera apps target regular users who only want the most basic features. Camera Pro and Cinema Pro are target at real photography enthusiasts, especially those who are already use to using Sony’s digital cameras. The interface of these applications borrows a lot from the Alpha series. The arrangement of settings and iconography are the same to make it easier for Alpha users to use the Xperia 1 II like their much larger digital camera.

In terms of options, there is no other device on the market that allows for very comprehensive manual control with apps that don’t need to be purchase separately. We are not human beings who fall into the category of photography enthusiasts but when the Xperia 1 II was loaned to the Amanz TV crew who did use the Alpha camera, they were quite satisfied with the options given. So let’s just say if you are indeed a Sony Alpha user, the Xperia 1 II camera will not disappoint.

But for people who are blind to photography like us, Camera Pro; and Cinema Pro are applications that are difficult to understand or learn. During the review period we used more regular camera apps only.

Bench mark

The Snapdragon 865 is a powerful processor for the first half of 2020; but has already overtaken by the Snapdragon 865+ and the Apple A14 Bionic. In terms of performance the Xperia 1 II recorded 536,9610 marks in the Antutu 3D test; and 718/1889 marks in the Geekbench 5 test.

The scores recorded in the Geekbench 5 test are lower; than other devices with the same processor (Galaxy S20 FE for example). The Xperia 1 II isn’t the most powerful android this year but still ranks in the top 10% of the fastest devices ever produced. No issues were encounter during the review period and various primers can be run at high settings.

Sony Xperia 1 II Brief Review

Sony Xperia 1 II Brief Review

Sony Xperia 1 II Brief Review – Malaysia is no longer seen as Xperia’s main market for the past two years due to the restructuring of Sony’s mobile phone business. As a result Xperia fans have to import the device they want to own or wait for the official launch to be done late.

Sony Xperia 1 II was announced last February but only started to be marketed in Malaysia last November at a price of RM4999. With 2020 drawing to a close, the question of whether the nine -month wait for the Xperia 1 II is worth it needs to be answered immediately. We don’t want to produce surprises and the sincere answer is no at all. Why not? Read this review for the answer.

The Xperia design 1 year ago was recycled for the second year. Once again Sony feels that a device with a 21: 9 screen is the most suitable design for 2020. Among the reasons given is that more; and more video content can be streamed at this ratio as well; as making it easier for two applications to be launched simultaneously through the Multi-Window feature.

Because it was launched in February, it still only uses the Snapdragon 865. In Malaysia only models with 8GB of RAM memory and 256 GB of storage are offered. This is not at all amazing for a flagship device that now already comes with 16GB of RAM. The storage offered is also a bit disappointing but no need to worry; as micro SD card support up to 1TB can be used if it is not enough.

The main camera matches a 12+12+12+0.3 MP sensor arranged vertically on the back of the device. The camera hump is not too high but can still make the device tip over when placed on a table. Supported lens systems are wide -angle, ultra -wide -angle, 3X optical telephoto and ToF depth detector.

Meanwhile, the front camera is 8MP. With this lens combination, the device is capable of recording video up to 4K 120p resolution after being updated to Android 11 which was just received this week.

Oppo A15 Review Conclusion

Oppo A15 Review Conclusion

Oppo A15 Review Conclusion – In conclusion, the Oppo A15 comes with specifications that are suitable for daily use. But, not for frequent use of the device. Who do you think should buy? First, if you have children or siblings, this device can be used as a facility for their learning process. Coupled with the current situation, learning sessions from home have been transformed into key learning techniques. So, owning a smart device can be said to be a necessity. Next, the Oppo A15 is also suitable as a gift for the elderly. Usually, such groups focus more on the use of social media only. Or, buy it for your own use. Especially those looking for a backup device.

The Oppo A15 is supplied with the same battery capacity as the Oppo A31 which is 4,230mAh. We found its performance to be practically satisfactory. Through it, it is seen to record SOT readings of almost 7- 8 hours for use throughout the day. These include use for first play, web browsing, use of maps, taking pictures and more. If you belong to the careful users, the battery on this device is capable of lasting more than a day.

But, what makes this android device seem to lag behind is on the use of connection ports. It is a kind of microUSB. Then, the charging is only 10W. This is a very slow charging for current standards. Due to that, the process to fully charge this device takes more than 2 hours.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Battery Quality

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Battery Quality

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Battery Quality – Dominating the device is a 5000 mAh battery that is the same as last year’s S20 Ultra. It simply charges at a maximum power of 25W instead of 45W on the S20 Ultra. The charging time is only 65 minutes which in our opinion is not bad but definitely not as fast as Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo. Wireless charging is supported on 15W as well as Wireless PowerShare. No charger is included with the purchase so the 25W PD charger is sold by Samsung at a price of RM95 each.

The charging performance is less impressive than the competitors but the battery performance is impressive. We managed to record a usage life of almost 24 hours with SOT of 9.5 hours even at WQHD+ 120Hz resolution.

This battery life we have NEVER seen on any Samsung android before. Last year the S20 Ultra only recorded a maximum life of 13 hours with an SOT of 5 hours 15 minutes in the same mode. What is the secret recipe of S21 Ultra we do not know but we were surprised by the test results.

Due to time constraints and pandemics, we were unable to do heavy testing using only LTE and a lot of moving. Predictably the battery life at the FHD+ 60Hz setting is definitely better and longer.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a device that managed to restore Samsung’s scratched dignity of years; and cleaned up charcoal from last year’s Dynamic AMIOLED screen; due to the Galaxy S20 series being haunted by various issues. The good design is comfortable in the hand with less annoying bumps than last year. This is matched by MAXIMUM performance, PRO capable camera, many additional features; and most importantly the battery which is ULTRA in performance.

So the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a powerful device like the Ultraman. All last year’s problems were successfully eliminated using Ultra Beam. Now the S21 Ultra is back on Planet Ultra to await the competition; that will be provided by Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, Honor, Poco, Apple; and many more throughout 2021. Will it continue to be a success? Just stay tuned for these other reviews on Amanz.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Camera Quality

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Camera Quality

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Camera Quality – This year’s quad-camera is different from last year’s Ultra configuration. The 108MP flagship sensor is from the ISOCELL HM3 family that now takes pictures in 12-bit mode allowing over 68 billion colors to be captured. Meanwhile, two 10MP telephoto sensors are used with 3X and 10X optical zoom capabilities and Space Zoom up to 100X respectively. Samsung took tips from the Huawei P40 Pro+ for a better zoom system this year. Finally the wide angle sensor is still 12 MP.

Although the main lens sensor is 108MP, the pictures taken are only 12 MP. Nine sensors are combined into one for a large pixel size of 2.4μm. The result is a sharper, more detailed picture and most importantly 50% brighter especially in the night.

A more important improvement is the use of lasers for the focusing system to bury the big issues difficult to focus on last year’s S20 Ultra. This is the same system on the Note20 Ultra that we personally feel is 2020’s best camera for more everyday situations.

The combination of better sensors, two telephoto zooms and a real laser system pays off. There really is no problem focusing this year. The fast camera focuses on objects even in macro mode with the subject located approximately 5cm from the lens. Samsung android users know macros are not the strength of their device but this macro mode is selected automatically when an object is detected close to the lens. Congratulations to Samsun because even on the iPhone 12 Pro Max this is difficult to do quickly.

Video performance is also better with HDR10+recording support. 8K 24p and Steady Shot 4K 60p. On paper the S21 Ultra camera is the best Samsung has ever offered to their smartphone users.

Picture Quality

The picture quality is very good. Since the Note20 Ultra Samsung’s camera algorithm has been redesigned to look more natural. For those who love pictures with high saturation Samsung they may be disappointed because the color science has changed. But this is a change for the better as consumers now prefer bright and accurate pictures rather than producing pictures that are more fantasy than reality.

Because our PKP is not able to do real testing in beautiful areas. Then the samples below may not have a high aesthetic value. But we believe it still demonstrates the capabilities of the S21 Ultra camera well.

Without even selecting night mode, pictures in dark settings are still bright. The light source is not diverging or blooming. The high dynamic range ensures that dark areas can still be seen without significant noise issues. Let the sample pictures below alone speak.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Improvements

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Improvements

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Improvements – Improvements to Nearby Share were also made. When selected the user can choose to remove the meta data on the image they want to share. The process of removing meta data is as simple as pressing the option button before the Nearby Share submission is performed. Another interesting feature is that users can customize the background image when a call is received from a particular individual. Animated videos for specific individual call backgrounds can also be generated through the AR Emoji system.

This may be the reason for the first time on the left Home screen that so far only shows Samsung Daily is now replaced with two options Google Discovery or Samsung Free (which replaces Samsung Daily). Google Discovery is a feature we’ve long wanted even a fan of Samsung devices. Samsung Daily is not as good as Google Discovery due to Bixby not surfing Google Assistant. The Googler of Samsung devices can already be seen clearly this time.

But this does not mean Bixby is completely ignored. This Samsung virtual assistant still has the exclusive right to be called using the power button. Samsung is not ready to allow users to call Google Assistant directly by pressing the power button this year. Maybe it will happen next year.

Edge Panels

Other features that are back are Edge Panels, DeX, Your Phone support on Windows 10, Multi Window and Always On Display. Thus the usage of the device is no different from Samsung’s flagship android launched earlier. The combination of a powerful processor, large RAM size and 120Hz screen provides a very smooth initial usage experience. To find out the actual performance of the Exnos 2100 chip compared to other chips on the market, you can read it in the benchmark segment below later.

S Pen support

The S Pen support on this device is the first in the history of the Galaxy S. To meet the needs of users, Samsung offers two special frames with built -in S Pen storage. The S Pen is not provided with every purchase of the S21 Ultra.

Of the two frames we tried, the silicone frame without a cover was the most comfortable to use. It only adds a few millimeters to the width of the device with a storage compartment on the left side of the device (same as last year’s Note20).

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specifications – Samsung screens rarely disappoint. Last year their screen only lost to the Xperia 1 II in the Amanz device awards because of its lower resolution and no BT.2020 warrant offer. The S21 Ultra screen is excellent because there is no color banding or ghosting we noticed during the use for these two days. HDR content is supported under the now increasingly popular HDR10+ format. Use under the scorching sun is also not problematic with the interface being clearly visible.

Is this a good action? Only you can answer this question. Personally we ourselves haven’t used it in five years because the storage is now getting bigger. In Malaysia the storage offered is 256 and 512 GB which we can say can last up to three years. So the absence of a micro SD slot is regrettable but probably not to be mourned.

Time to touch on specs anyway. The latest Exynos 2100 chip is matched with 12/16 GB memory and storage up to 512GB. On paper this is a pretty solid combination; as the Exynos 2100 is the most powerful Android chip to date based on the synthetic testing we’ve done. The Exynos 2100 chip comparison article will be published tomorrow to provide a more in -depth analysis. For now all we can say is that the Samsung android does feel fast and no significant heating issues were found.

The Samsung camera system has undergone a drastic change compared to the S20 Ultra. The 108MP sensor is matched with a wide -angle lens; 12MP with an ultra -wide -angle lens, 10 MP with a 3X optical telephoto lens and another 10MP with a periscope 10X optical telephoto lens that supports zoom up to 100X. Space Zoom still exists but with a Zoom Lock system that stabilizes the image like a tripod. All of this can be done even though this year’s telephoto camera sensor is smaller than the S20 Ultra (48MP vs 10MP).

Realme C25s Camera Capability

Realme C25s Camera Capability

Realme C25s Camera Capability – The tri-camera combines a 48MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. Although the main sensor is 48MP, the pictures taken are only moderate. Compliments are only given to camera bumps that aren’t big so it’s not disgusting.

Able to take good pictures in good lighting situations but starts to show weaknesses in dark situations. Without OIS, the images taken look softer – less sharp when compared to mid -range device cameras with similarly sized sensors. Color reproduction is also less pronounced with all images consistently cooler (with blue tones).

The zoom system can take good pictures up to 2X only. When starting to touch a maximum of 10X, the image appears to burst with the object losing sharpness. You can see for yourself in the picture below. It is not recommended to take pictures at a zoom setting of up to 10X using the C25s.

With a 2MP macro sensor, the picture quality as expected is less than satisfactory. Manufacturers from China are quite fond of using small -sized sensors for macros that we feel don’t make sense. None of the photos using macro mode we can say meet the satisfactory standards of Amanz photography lab.

The Realme C25s is an affordable entry -level device. Various sacrifices are made on this class of device and photographic capability is one feature whose hope bar should be placed lower when commenting. But we have to be fair here and if compared to other devices, the performance of the C25s camera is comparable.

While scrolling we can also feel it is not very smooth especially on long websites or application trays. There was a bit of ghosting causing the scroll to feel a little snoring. It is true that this screen segment is full of critical screens but the fact is that this is what exists on affordable entry -level devices. The user experience really can’t match what can be offered on middle class android and above.

Oppo Reno5 Audio Quality and Special Camera

Oppo Reno5 Audio Quality and Special Camera

Oppo Reno5 Audio Quality and Special Camera – Although there is Dolby Atmos support, the Reno5 speakers are only mono. so the experience of listening to music directly from the device is not so much fun. Thankfully, the audio results are pretty good. It is loud, not noisy, has good bass and has a nice sound. It’s a pity Oppo doesn’t use stereo speakers, while entry -level devices like the Poco X3 also have stereo speakers.

Paired with a beautiful screen, FHD+ AMOLED as well as HDR on some videos – the audio on this device is just fine. Luckily Oppo still includes a 3.5mm audio jack port which allows users who still rely on a set of wired earphones to enjoy balanced music on the right and left.

Special Camera

The stabilization mode is in night mode, but a little weak because the device system focuses a lot on “AI” to visualize night video. The stabilization mode is also pretty, no matter the front camera or the rear camera where it allows users to produce a more stable, neat and balanced vlog. The portrait mode on the video is a bit weird, it’s better if the movement is less, otherwise the video will look a little weird.

Video is also an important focus for Oppo android. Many video modes are offered. What is interesting is that video recording can now be done at night. The flagship devices so far do not offer this mode except the Mi 11. Oppo is trying to use the same technology on photography mode, cum this time for video anyway. The nighttime video is pretty good and clear enough for a middle class device.

The swatoto results are also not disappointing with excellent quality, details and colors. There is still a smoothing effect on the face, but it is forgivable. What’s wrong with occasionally taking pictures wanting to feel more beautiful or handsome? Beauty mode if set to level 0, not as bad as before.

Oppo Reno5 Battery and Camera Specs

Oppo Reno5 Battery and Camera Specs

Oppo Reno5 Battery and Camera Specs – Is a battery important for a smartphone? Of course, yes! The Oppo Reno5 uses a 4300mAh capacity battery with a dual-cell design. This is for SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charging support which promises 15 minutes of 60% charging and as low as 35 minutes for 100%. If the battery is already weak by around 5%, Oppo claims to still be able to activate WhatsApp for about 1 more hour before it dies completely.

See the screenshot below, just 1 hour more SOT? is this true? For extreme uses like downloads, non -stop hotspots, primers and cameras – the battery life I got was under 4 hours SOT. If trying to reduce usage, such as turning off Bluetooth, not using the camera much or playing first – 6 hours of SOT can be achieved.

But I am aware of a bit of a problem in this Oppo android, where the battery optimization is very weak. If all day working from home around 8 hours for example – this device can last all day if used regularly. If you’re busy typing articles, editing videos and so on – the device runs out of battery faster. The Reno5 battery optimization is not stable enough. I expect it to be able to reach at least 7 hours of SOT.

Myself, I can accept it because of the fast -paced SuperVOOC 2.0. Even a Pixel 4 with an SOT under 3 hours I can accept because of the satisfactory user experience. If the identifier is carried or lost-this Oppo android supports basic 18W USB-PD. So no problem there either.

Anyway, the Oppo Reno5 camera brings a good camera. The use of software as an important basis is seen to play a role and not just a gimmick. Maybe it’s too early, compared to Google which has been using it since 2016. But it’s good that Oppo started an initiative like this, later recording videos and photos on the device can be even better with a regular lens.

Oppo Reno5 Network And Operations

Oppo Reno5 Network And Operations

Oppo Reno5 Network And Operations – This is another mid -range 5G device. Although 5G is still not available in Malaysia, but that does not mean devices with 5G support are useless. With better modem technology, a more efficient chip – the signal strength on this device is quite great. In the two telcos I tested, Maxis and Yes, there was no problem at all and the network could remain 4G+ almost always. But mobile data speeds are a little frustrating when downloading.

Phone calls are very good, without any problems with noise or strong winds. The caller said my voice was pretty clear. As for GPS, this device has no problem in GPS. Only the compass app is a little slow to display the exact direction. Else, it’s what you’d expect for a device like this.

The Operations

Speaking of operating systems, this is the most fun Oppo device to use. This is thanks to Color OS 11. Oppo is also more towards the use of native Android. Built -in Google Message and Google Phone, group notification support, bubble notifications, and many more native Android elements are included. Meanwhile, Color OS 11 also includes many interesting features and functions.

Color OS 11 has much more powerful multi-task support, much more attractive customization support, as well as unique ringtone support. You imagine you have a lot of important WhatsApp groups, a lot of incoming notifications and the ringtone sound will be noisy and annoying. But with this device, every ringtone can be a fun melody to listen to.

Next, the Flexdrop feature that allows for more efficient use of the device by launching any application quickly through a floating window. Then, the Three-Finger Translate With Google Assistant Lens feature that lets users translate content directly from screenshots. Oppo devices even externally look for casual, casual and unpretentious use – they still offer great capabilities for productivity and professionalism.

Oppo Reno5 Brief Review

Oppo Reno5 Brief Review

Oppo Reno5 Brief Review – The Oppo Reno was first introduced in 2019, this year is already entering the third year of the Oppo Reno’s age and various innovations, technologies and device variations have been introduced. In 2021, Oppo Malaysia brings the Oppo Reno5 series to the local market with specifications more or less the same as the variation in China. Unlike the Oppo Reno4 where models sold in Malaysia use a chip that has lower power than the Chinese model.

We’ve been using the Oppo Reno5 for a few weeks. Oppo is once again focusing on camera capabilities. Only this time the greatness of the software -based camera is more emphasized such as video recording capability with night mode, Color OS 11 which is smarter and closer to the original Android and of course focuses on design. Is this your dream device for 2021? Can a software -powered camera be able to turn the Oppo Reno5 into a camera device? This is our review.

The Uniqueness

Among the uniqueness with this Oppo Reno5 is, it uses an electrochromic back panel – where the color of the back panel can change. But that’s limited to the Pro+ variation only. Even so, the use of this all -new slope color also brings a very beautiful, attractive color and uses a matte finish that is pleasant to the touch. Although it feels like slippery, but it still gives a good grip.

The camera module uses a rectangular design with curved corners. Each lens is also quite large as the lens from the iPhone 12, but arranged lengthwise. On the right side there is a power button that can also be set as a Google Assistant call button and on the left series there is a volume button. Below are the speaker lattice, audio jack port, and USB-C port.

This Oppo android feels very comfortable in the hand. It’s thin, light and fun to rub on the back panel. Flat screen design with 2.5D curved finish, perforated screen – everything is pretty and neat. This design will also likely be used on one of the OnePlus 9 models. A bit disappointing on this device is, it still has a thick chin.

Realme X7 Pro Performance And Benchmark Scores

Realme X7 Pro Performance And Benchmark Scores

Realme X7 Pro Performance And Benchmark Scores – First play on this device gives a different experience. For example, when playing first like PUBG Mobile it can play at High setting only. The playing experience is quite satisfying, but after about one session – it starts to heat up. But not so hot, because the device can still be held and operated well. But after playing Genshin Impact, it was limited to 60FPS only. Then throughout the play period it was a bit snagged and the animation transitions were a bit weird and as if it wasn’t the first time there were graphics bugs. Just 10-15 minutes of play, the device starts to heat up until it is uncomfortable to hold.

Not only that, in the Don’t Kill My App test to see memory management. This realme android is a bit weak. It is not capable of handling many applications simultaneously. The score is only 58%. It could be that 8GB of RAM is not enough for this chip and it could also be that the use of UFS 2.1 internal storage is not a wise choice.

The benchmark score was 509498 from AnTuTu, while Geekbench 5 earned 766 for single-core and 2758 for multi-core. The score reaching 500K is the equivalent of the Snapdragon 865, but still not great enough as most are around 550k.

UI Performance

Realme UI still has a lot of fat apps built -in. This is one of the reasons why the optimization of the operating system is unsatisfactory and causes problems. Even so functions like dark theme mode, Realme Share, Focus Mode, Customizable Icon, Smart Driving and many more are ready to help users to add a fun user experience.

Realme UI is pretty smooth if used for casual, but when it starts playing first, it becomes problematic. The system crashes frequently such as time lag problems, the screen cannot be touched; there is a time lag between scanning a fingerprint and going to the main screen and more. This problem does not occur during the first play only. In fact, when the device is not touched for about 30 minutes to 1 hour – it also suffers from serious time delay problems.

Realme X7 Pro Design Quality

Realme X7 Pro Design Quality

Turning to the Realme X7 Pro design quality, again it is similar to the Oppo Reno. Only the Oppo wins, because of the beautiful and unique back panel. Realme only uses a regular glossy slope color with a smooth finish. Most annoying is the writing “Dare To Leap” filling the back panel. The shape of the camera module is similar to the Oppo, but the Oppo looks more premium and there is a class because of the design of each lens which is more striking.

On the side of the device there is only a power button and on the other side one is the volume up button. No 3.5mm audio jack port is offered, the speakers are stereo and have a 4500mAh battery capacity with 65W SuperDart Charge fast charging support.

Screen Design

The screen on this device is really great. For the first time personally I was fond of the refresh rate screen on a Realme android. The 120Hz setting supported on this device is like using a more expensive device. It is very smooth, fast and very satisfying. It’s like the first time trying out a device with a refresh rate screen; like the first time I tried the 90Hz screen on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Surprising!

But alas, the color of this screen is not very bright and the screen of this device is not very bright. The screen color of this device is not attractive enough, it is as if the color is described only using a filter. It is too sharp and does not preserve the details well. Maybe this is the sacrifice that has to be faced for a smooth screen? However, watching videos is not a problem. Only on apps and launchers there is this problem. Netflix, YouTube and even Disney+ are just beautiful. It corresponds to AMOLED screen devices priced below RM2000.

Oppo Reno5 Pro Camera Quality

Oppo Reno5 Pro Camera Quality

Oppo Reno5 Pro Camera Quality – The Oppo Reno5 Pro uses a main quad-camera system with a 64-Megapixel configuration for the main sensor. Next, followed by 8-Megapixel for Ultra-Wide as well as two more 2-Megapixel lenses for macro and mono sensors. Then, selfies can be take through the 32-Megapixel front camera. The camera interface is also easy to understand and there is absolutely no problem to access every available camera mode.

The Oppo Reno5 Pro has the ability to record video with the highest settings up to 4K (30fps). Not only that, but there are various key functions build into the camera that can be find- aim at improving the performance.

Night Filming

Touching on performance, the camera is able to provide good image results. Each resulting shot looks good with detail detail on the subject satisfactorily and bright colors. Plus when the AI Scene Enchancement function is activate, the shots look brighter and prettier – with more prominent colors.

Ultra-Wide Photos

Next, the wide-angle results are also not disappointing. It is seen to be able to provide good detail – although the effect of taste distortion may already be common. Finally, the results for macro lenses are however unsatisfactory. The resulting image is seen to lack good detail detail. It is, however, already to be expect for picture results from a 2-Megapixel sensor.

Ultra Night Selfie Mode, Ultra Dark Mode & Night Flare Portrait

These three functions are suitable for night shooting results. It will make the picture brighter even when taken in dim conditions. Then, Night Flare Portrait is able to make the subject in the picture stand out with the bokeh effect on the back.

So, it can be said that this Oppo android is adequate for daily tasks as well as the first. But, what is the main problem here is – the issue of easy heat on the back panel. Even more frustrating, this hot issue often makes it uncomfortable to hold the device when it happens. Arguably around 10 – 15 minutes of game hot problems on the device can already be feel.

Oppo Reno5 Pro Design Quality

Oppo Reno5 Pro Design Quality

Oppo Reno5 Pro Design Quality – Touching on the question of design, one of the uniqueness of this device lies in the type of finish used. The use of all -new slope colors makes it unique and stylish. Especially for the Oppo Reno5 Pro model in a Galactic Silver color finish – where the color of the back panel changes according to the user’s point of view. However, the review model we received was Starry Black. The black hue is simple but looks elegant. In our opinion, what Oppo presents on this model is quite different than before.

However, we have to admit here this back panel feels a bit slippery and is quite easy to trap fingerprint dirt. At the same time, it is also vulnerable to the risk of fine scratches. Therefore, you are advised to use the plastic frame provided free of charge by Oppo in the purchase box.

Back Panel

Next, the back panel also houses a rectangular camera module – along with three different camera humps for each lens. Also visible, there is another additional lens that is placed side by side and looks flat. The front panel has not received any changes – still like the previous Oppo Reno5.

“Design for Reno” – which gives an idea of the decorative concept used is exclusive to devices under the Reno series only. Finally, the SIM tray compartment is placed at the bottom along with the USB-C connection port and speakers. Notice or not, the drawback here is the absence of a 3.5mm audio jack.

Overall, what we can say is the display quality is good. The screen is seen to have satisfactory brightness along with sharp colors. Then, the details on each content are also good with quality at a satisfactory level. In a simple sense, every piece of content featured looks beautiful. Plus, no matter where you are – whether outdoors or indoors, the display on this smart android still remains clearly visible.

Samsung Galaxy A02s Achievements

Samsung Galaxy A02s Achievements

Samsung Galaxy A02s Achievements – For internal specifications, the samsung galaxy a02s uses the same processor as the previous samsung galaxy a11-via a snapdragon 450 chip generation. It brings an eight-core chip, via an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 with the use of an adreno 506 GPU. memory is larger than the device – namely 4GB of ram and 64GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1). This space can also be expanded via a dedicated microSD slot with a maximum limit of 1TB.

If we want to talk about performance, Samsung Galaxy A02s is able to perform the basic functions of a smartphone well. Use of the most basic activities – for example surfing the web, social media and so on. This smart Samsung android is capable of operating satisfactorily. It’s just that there are times when the problem of time lag still occurs for some situations. For example, when we are scrolling, click any application or type on the keyboard.

Opening Apps

When this happens, it results in the process of opening the application feeling a bit slow. Later, the scrolling process was also somewhat disrupt and not very smooth. Typically, it often happens when there are some heavy applications in the background. However, such a situation seems to be already to be expected for a device in such a class.

Touching on the first performance; intensive games like PUBG; or Call Of Duty can still be play. However, the condition for getting a good gaming experience is only on the basic graphics settings. If you expect something more, we can only say the performance was a bit disappointing. What makes matters worse is that the game is a bit snagged and not smooth for some situations. As for the Asphalt 9 game, we didn’t try it – because we found it not to be found in the Google Play Store.

We start with the design first. The Samsung Galaxy A02s brings a design that is quite synonymous with some of the other models under the galaxy A series – especially for the design on the back panel. As can be seen, this smart android uses a construction entirely of polycarbonate with a striped texture finish with a prism-like design.

Holding this device for the first time – its build is arguably quite thick and heavy. It may be due to its large battery capacity. Even so, it is still comfortable to hold. Coupled with such a textured back panel – indirectly able to provide a pretty good grip and not easily escape from the user’s grip.

The Samsung Galaxy A02s, however, does not have fingerprint scanner support – either physically or built into the screen. Instead, you are only given the option of a face scan function and a few other common security settings. For example, swipe settings, patterns, pins or passwords.

As far as we use, this face scan function is seen to give a good and responsive response. Then, it is able to unlock this smart device quickly. Arguably, this function is easier for users to compare with other common security settings.

Wiko Power U20 Design Quality

Wiko Power U20 Design Quality

Wiko Power U20 Design Quality – It has become a habit, every time a review article will start with a physical design first. The Wiko Power U20 carries a plastic -based rear construction or its scientific name polycarbonate. Even so, it still looks pretty good in a shimmery finish. The back panel is also seen giving a bit of light reflection that is interesting to look at. Only, there is no change in terms of color appearance that results through it.

For information, the review unit received is the Wiko Power U20 in Slate Gray color. For other options, there is also the Wiko Power U20 in a cheerful color shade of Navy Blue which is able to add an exclusive touch to a casual design. If you want something different, the Wiko Power U20 in Mint color feels more appropriate because its appearance looks more prominent with the writing “Let’s Power-Up” which is quite large. Each of the color finishes provide is suitable only to be style by women or men. In fact, it is also easily adapt to match various types of clothing. In addition, it is also able to meet the tastes of the wearer who wants the appearance to look relaxed.

Important Element

Undoubtedly, the Wiko Power U20 has an important element in terms of comfort. Why? This is due to its good and strong body shape – at the same time making it comfortable to hold. In addition, the design is ergonomic and not too heavy or thick – also helps in adding more comfort and a better grip experience. Overall, it is a good smart android, neat and has a satisfactory build quality. Only, the back panel feels a little slippery and so easily traps fingerprint dirt. However, this problem can be overcome with the free silicone frame provide in the purchase box.

I Was Disappointed With the Vivo V21

I Was Disappointed With the Vivo V21

What I was disappointed with the Vivo V21 was that, despite being equipped with OIS on the front and rear cameras, it didn’t seem to help. The image still looks soft just like the camera of a device that only uses EIS. Hopefully in the next software update it will be fixed. Throughout use a lot feels as if Vivo relies on software alone. Indirectly, low -light mode images are not very pretty.

Ultra wide angle images are no problem at all on this device. It is capable of taking pictures with a clear point of view. But the color is not so flashy and looks like an edit only. But if there is enough light, the picture result is adequate.

Audio Deficiency

The most frustrating thing on this fancy android is, it only uses mono speakers. It’s mono, there’s no 3.5mm audio jack. With mono speakers, the audio is unbalanced and will feel a little weird when watching videos, listening to music or playing the first.

But luckily, the speakers are loud enough and loud enough just with a flat audio profile. If you listen to pop songs, light songs or videos that focus a lot on vocals-the audio of this device is adequate. But it would be nice to have a pair of stereo speakers. Maybe this will only be offered on next year’s Vivo V22.

The 4000 mAh battery has no problem supplying power all day. At its lightest use it easily lasts for two days with another remaining balance of around 5%. In heavy use, SOT alone for 5 hours can be enjoyed. The heavy use here is a lot of using social media apps, streaming video, using cameras and running firsts. This medium -large battery takes around 60 minutes to fully charge via the 33W charger provided with each purchase.
